Formed in 1997, The Picts have become one of the most popular live acts on the folk rock and concert scene. They have reached out with their unique brand of celtic rock and captivated hundreds of audiences both at home and abroad. The songs and instrumentals are upbeat, powerful and irresistible for dancing. Never a dull moment!

Formed in 2006 by Douglas Hunter, Grant MacConnell and Jeremy Stirling.  The aim was to focus mainly on the works of Robert Burns and other well known traditional and original Scottish music and songs.Whether as a laid back two or three piece group in intimate settings or as a full on four or five piece band, the songs and instrumentals of The Court of Equity are fused with, and driven by enthusiastic audience participation.
